Travel Club
     The bus for the Federal Reserve Bank and the Wells Fargo Museum tour leaves from the Lodge on Thursday, March 25. Guests should arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. so the bus can leave on time. Be sure to bring government-issued photo identification with a name identical to what was submitted on the event reservation form.
     The dinner show, “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” at the Candlelight Pavilion in Claremont has been scheduled for Thursday, May 13. The cost is $88 for members and $93 for guests. For more information, contact Travis or Valerie Montgomery at 244-5193.
     The National Parks trip has been cancelled. A Reno Great Balloon Race trip is scheduled for September 9 to 12. Member price is $360 per person. An Italian Lakes and Greek Islands trip that includes a seven-night eastern Mediterranean cruise is scheduled for September 17 to 28. Member price is $3,449 per person for an inside cabin.

Canyon Lake Community Theatre
     The CLCT is currently accepting proposals to direct this year’s children’s summer play, “Bugsy Malone,” and the fall show, “State Fair.” The club is looking for experienced directors. All proposals must be submitted by April 1. For more information, call Lisa Tousseau at 244-9245.

Roadrunners
     Meetings are held at the Lodge on the second Tuesday of each month from 5 to 7:30 p.m. New members and guests are welcome. For more information, contact John Sullivan at 244-4626.

Republican Women Federated
     California State Senate 37th District candidate Russ Bogh will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Republican Women Federated on Monday, March 22, at 10 a.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Country Club. A luncheon will follow upstairs in the restaurant.
     Congressman Darrell Issa will be the guest speaker at the April 10 meeting. Also, residents are invited to mark their calendars for a “Wine, Women and Elephants” fundraiser in the Lodge lounge and patio area on May 18. To learn more about the club, visit www.canyonlakerepublicanwomen.net.

Jr. Women’s Club
     The Jr. Women’s Club will host “Teens on Spring Break” on Monday, March 29, from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Pool View Room at the Lodge. Admission is $5.
     The Easter Carnival is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and vendors and high school volunteers are wanted.

Car Club
     The club holds monthly meetings the first Thursday of each month at the Lodge, with the next scheduled for April 1. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the general meeting at 6:30 p.m. Learn about upcoming events, listen to guest speakers and share automotive experiences. Art Association
     Art Association meetings are held on the first Thursday every month at 7 p.m. and are open to all residents. Teens are welcomed but must be accompanied by a parent. For more information, call Joanie Evarts at 244-3378 or David Johnston at 244-6209.

Woman’s Club
     The next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 17, at 10 a.m. at the Lodge. The St. Patrick’s Day program will feature the Canyon Lake Choraleers, led by director and pianist Carole Fielding. The group will perform traditional Irish tunes. The cost of the corned beef and cabbage luncheon is $13 – checks are preferred. For cancellations, call Rosi DelNostro at 246-1872 today.
     There are seats available for this year’s Fashion Show, “Tea House of the April Moon,” on April 30. Tickets are $40. For information, call Sue Collins at 246-2773. Sign-up sheets for the pre-fashion show parties will be available at the meeting. The next party will be at the home of Lynn Trampush on Tuesday, March 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. Ladies are invited to join in the fun!

CLAWS
     All Canyon Lake women are invited to attend the Canyon Lake Association of Women's Group (CLAWS) Bunco on the second Wednesday of the month. The next meeting will be Wednesday, April 14, at 3:15 p.m. in the Magnolia Room. A player's card is $10. Please bring canned or packaged food for the Community Cupboard. Bible Fellowship
     The Canyon Lake Bible Fellowship is open to anyone looking for a place to enjoy Christian fellowship in a warm, friendly environment. It meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the home of Steve and Ruth Martin, 23409 Silver Strike Dr.Êin Canyon Lake. Meetings open with songs of praise and worship and each week Pastor Rick Schutee goes through a chapter of the Bible to understand its meaning.
     The club has been involved with many outreach opportunities inside and outside the community. Its goal is to come together in fellowship and restore hope through God's word. All are welcomed. For more information, call 244-2438 or 757-6146.

Chair Volleyball
     The Chair Volleyball Club meets every Tuesday and Friday at 9:40 a.m. in the Holiday Bay Room. Canyon Lake seniors are welcome to come and get some exercise while playing this energetic game. The game is played using a beach ball and a slightly lowered net while players are seated. “Its amazing the fun you can have while burning those extra calories,” says spokesperson Pat Engelhardt. Twirlers
     The beginning square dance class is held every Wednesday from 7 to 8:15 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge. A plus-level workshop is held from 6:15 to 7 p.m. and a dance-level workshop is held from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Regular club dances are held on the second Sunday of each month in the Holiday Bay Room. Led by Diana Gallagher, beginner line dance class is held every Tuesday (except the second one), from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Pool View Room at the Lodge. All ages are welcome. On the second Tuesday of each month until April, class is held in the City Multi-purpose Room. A beginning to intermediate line dance class is offered Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room. Each class is $4. Photography Club

Pinochle Club

Yacht Club
     Meetings of the Yacht Club are held on the fourth Thursday of the month. Boat ownership is not a criterion for membership. Members enjoy fun events throughout the year, including the moonlight cruise, progressive dinner, Oktoberfest, lake cleanup and more. For more information, contact Kathy Bacon at 246-9968.

Bosom Buddies
     The Bosom Buddies mission is to educate, inspire and support newly diagnosed breast cancer patients during their breast cancer journey. Lions Club
     Lions, along with the Lioness, are members of the largest service organization in the world. Lions Clubs International recently partnered with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
     Lions Club International and its network of 44,000 clubs in 205 countries have long provided relief to victims of natural disasters. This partnership will further enable Lions to respond in time of need.
